We are a clinic-based private practice located in San Jose, California, providing in-person and teletherapy services to families across the Bay Area. We are highly trained and experienced in treating Gestalt language processing, apraxia, social-pragmatic language, speech sound disorder, receptive/expressive language, AAC, dyslexia, and auditory processing. We also conduct Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) for families seeking comprehensive, school-aligned assessments.
Our mission is to empower individuals of all ages to develop impactful communication skills, fostering confidence and meaningful connections. Meet Grace Hedgecock, M.S. CCC-SLP, ASDCS
Grace is the Founder and Owner of Hedgehog Speech Therapy. She is an ASHA-Certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) from San Jose, California. She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from San Jose State University.

Grace has experience working as an SLP in inpatient rehabilitation, public school settings, and private practice. While she specializes in supporting neurodivergent clients, including ADHD and autistic individuals, she also has extensive experience with a variety of communication needs, such as gestalt language processing, AAC, and articulation. Grace is excited to support you or your loved one in becoming a confident communicator!

In Grace's free time, she likes to play board games, play with her puppy Miso, and go on hikes.

Meet Laurel Cuyle, M.A. CCC-SLP, ASDCS
​Laurel is an ASHA-Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) and Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialists (ASDCS) from Southern California. She received her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Iowa.
​​Laurel has experience working with neurodivergent learners, including autistic and ADHD individuals, and has a strong background in gestalt language processing, AAC, social/pragmatic communication, articulation, fluency (stuttering), and voice. She is passionate about providing client-centered, individualized care and creating an affirming environment where each person feels safe, supported, and understood. Laurel believes in meeting clients where they are, honoring their strengths, and collaborating closely with families to support meaningful communication growth.

Outside of work, Laurel enjoys exploring coffee shops, going on walks, and singing with her husband.
